An under hood battery and a couple of good sized batts will be fine. That 220amp alt will help a lot.

are you talking about the 3000 @ 1 ohm or the 1500's @ 1 ohm? i got stock ***** up front and 2 93 ah in the back

Either-or. There isn't a huge difference in output from one to the other. However, I would go with the 3000D since it'll be more reliable at 1ohm and slightly more efficient as well.

Yes, the stock battery plus a pair of 93ah batts and a 220 amp alt can handle 3kw. Upgrade your stock battery and you're even better off.

not sure how my 3k compares to the sundown's but i have two 93ah c&d tech batts in the rear, duralast gold up front with stock alt and 1/0 big 3 and two runs of 1/0 and stays above twelve volts....so i think you should be fine.

If you have the electrical to back it up they can run at .7 nominal strapped.
