sundown problem ( i think)

remove the turn on wires from all amps, eq's, crossovers, etc ..., then check the voltage. If the voltage is normal like this then one of the components is drawing it down, if it's still low, then it's wiring, fuse or the headunit. Some headunits are known to have weak traces on the turn-on circuit.

all this done for a simple problem i hate it when this happens //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

god i know i spent two hours stressing over it thinking about how i was gonna quit car audio cause it pissed me off. first time ever getting metered and i get a 152, thats good enough for me. but if an amp ever dies, i dont know what im gonna do. but i sure as hell was glad that i got it working.

hook it up to 1 amp, and beat on it?

There are 2 things that May Cause a Sundown to Die.

1. Amp is bad due to manufacture error.

This is almost non existent due to the fact that Jake keeps a eagle eye on the build quality.

2. You do something really stupid like trying to run it at .5 with a almost stock electrical. Hell you can even do that at 1 ohm .

Other then that Most cases that I have seen are in the same as your Neg connection coming loose. Or not strapping them correctly, crappy RCA's Etc.

Im glad you got it fixed. Amps fine huh. I bet that made your day.
