Something Different and new to listen to

I don’t know about the rest of you but I get a bit tired of listening to rap all the time. most spl geared cars and truck are geared a bit more for this type of music but in my case I don’t even really like rap.(especially modern rap).

Because of this i am always looking for new music that sound good AND has lots of bass. I few years ago i found that a lot of jazz and orchestra music is filled with bass AND sounds beautiful with a nice set of components.

Anyways last night I found a group called Black Violin these guy in my opinion are spectacular. Killer classical style violin and orchestra music which is great for showing off your mids and highs but is mixed with killer beats and has some sick bass lines. These guys really bring a new feel to the hip hop world.

The better your system sounds, the better sources of music you need. I still like some of the bass music but I am far more into SQ these days.

I do feel ya though, I get tired of Jeezy, Gucci, or whomever this week is putting out tunes with consistant bass tones in it. Its all pretty horrible content wise, but they do great on the meter and the crowds like hair tricks on music.
