hifonics are great budget amps, but if you have the money for sundown i wouldn't even consider hifonics.

Hifonics is decent at most. I guess the term budget comes to mind when i think of that company. Most of the Brutus series amps are very overrated.

hifonics aren't as bad as most make them out to be...especially their higher end series. I think sundown is a great company...but they are one of the forums current boners so everybody is gonna suggest them. I had a sundown saz1500d and I agree it was a nicely built amp with solid power but it isn't the amp of all amps either imo.

sundown is notorious for solid amps, but at the same time, i feel like hifonics is starting to up their game. If i had the $$$ i would do sundown first, but at the same time, nothings wrong with hifonics
