$1800 is absurdly high though. If he didn't want to sell them bad enough then he shouldn't have made a thread at all. Asking such a ridiculous price is only going to drum up controversy.

But look at it this way, if someone does pay that for them look how much money he just pocketed. He may not want to sell them, but if someone is willing to buy them for that much it would be worth it.
