How did you arrive at that cost for a ferrite motored sub?

I never said it's the best ever made but I have a Shocker Sig motor and every measurement of this motor except the OD and thickness of the magnet slugs is different from the Sig.

And the Mad Maxx is a 4" coil... so totally different again.

... right, the only reason he is posting a silly asking price is that only 4 exist. I don't think he is serious about selling them anyway... took him forever to talk me out of them *laughs*

The OD of the coil is 3.5" -- it's a FAT coil.

$1800 is absurdly high though. If he didn't want to sell them bad enough then he shouldn't have made a thread at all. Asking such a ridiculous price is only going to drum up controversy.
