Sundown e12 v2 or trade even for Sundown SA-12????

Have a brand new sundown e12 v2 in box well my buddy is totally spoiled and has moronic parents that will buy him anything I have never seen a kid with this many brands of subs.. and the thing is hes not mainstream he literally has everything fi alpine rockford incriminator re and many more and just got an 18" psi and has every submodel sundown offers but wont sell any of it never used??? But I did see he had an SA-12 in his room so I asked him to trade for my new e12 half joking and he said he doesnt care now the sub I know was hooked up once I was there listened to it for 5 min and his words were "Sounds like ****" the dumb mofo didnt even think it was his scosche sealed box duuuuuuuh. So shouold I trade? I know it sounds like a dumb question like who wouldnt but what would I really gain I dont have money for a better amp have an Alpine MRV-M500 so its perfect for the e12 but also good for the sa-12! the Sundown SA 12 would be noticeably different compared to the E12

will handle more power, and sound better.
