Finally doing the sub stage for my 99 civic. I already have Type R components and 6x9's hooked up to an 80PRS. Surprisingly these Type R speakers for only getting headunit RMS will go down to 32hz well.
Because of that I'm tuning my E10v3 to 30 hz because my Type R's can handle the midbass from there on up. I am really trying to eek out the low lows and hopefully the E10v3 on the Rockford Fosgate R500X1D 600 watts in 1.28 cubes tuned to 30hz will do just that. I'm really just hoping I can hit those really really low hip hop bass hits that nobody knows exists until they hear it on a sub..
We shall see.
My last system was an OA15 in 3.1 cubes @ 32hz on like 700 watts. I have some expectations from that system, mainly to get just as low as that 15 did...and maybe even a little lower.
