Sundown Audio

I have a 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD and was comparing either getting 2 12" sundown SA or 1 12" sundown X. Both would be running off the Crescendo BC2000D. Just want know know which setup would hit the hardest the 1 12" or 2 12" setup. Both will be in a ported box to there spec or bigger and tuned to around 34-35hertz

Aren't the type X more of a competition type woofer? I don't have any personal experience with Sundown but from what I've learned from a few shops and guys who have ran these is that the X is more of an air mover where the Sa is more of a music woofer. Is that correct?

I dont think I can run a single 15. So 2 12 SA will be louder than 1 12 X off the same amp, spec box, and low tuning

No it's not a spl comp woofers... It's a everyday grounpounder!!!

lol if you can fit 2 12s then u can fit 1 15" but none the less if u don't want to then two Sa 12s

Old mtx 9500 are meh... If you can get it for $100 bucks not a bad deal... I'd pass on the dc lvl3's... Sa 12s over those

1 X 15" > 2 Sa 12s And this is my opinion but sounds like you wants 12s so do two Sa 12s

Not at all.

SA's would be louder on the same power. X's have the "lower distortion" design and are supposed to be daily without crazy amounts of power.

the x15 would be able to fit in a smaller box than the 2 sa 12s. just do 2 sa 12s, they will get louder than 1 15 that's for sure, and way louder than 1 12

What about some zv3 12s? They only call for 1 cube each...
