I have a SA-12 2ohm DVC and i cant get it to sound any better than a kicker comp its in a sealed box and ran by a 2000 watt lanzar vibe

well for 1 get rid of the sealed box and get a custom ported made ..2 .how are you running that amp @4ohms or 1? i had a sa12 on a saz1000 a while back abd it was very impressive

well see idk anything about wiring in ohms so i have it wired from + - on the amp and to the sub its + on one voice coil and- on the other then i have a wire connecting the remaining +- terminals

ok so you.re running @4 ohms which isnt gona be much output on that amp at all......get. a solid 1000-1500 watt amp and wire that sub at 1 ohm..both sets of voice coil wires going to amp..and it will blow u away..and get someone to make u a nice ported box

im getting another sa-12 here next week and im making a dual ported box so will i need a different amp?

yes get another amp at least 2000@1 ohm ...i bet u could find a good deal on here.. a dc2.0 or aq2200 or crescendo bc2k cone to mind and would be perfect

also i dont know what kind of electrical and wiring u have but you.re gona want to get a good 1/0 wiring kit ..i suggest audio technix. and do the big 3 and get. agood agm battery for under the hood and possibly addd a second battery to the back to keep you.re voltage from dropping too bad

ou can find one used here in the classifieds or new on different websites...but any of those amps i mentioned would be great

your gona need a good amp and solid electrical cuz ur gona be running at .5 on the 2 2ohm subs
