kind of unnecessary, in my mind, to call the soundpressure that...

just a company website, like tc, fi, and ia...

they are pricey...but I like them...

and Im not biased. I have used and help build more than a few SPL vehicles with DD products.

I realize it is a redirect...

I don't know why that ddboner redirects it, i think that is stupid...

anyways, like i mentioned earlier in the thread, everyone has a brand they like better...

I like dd but they are expensive...just a fact of life..

it's all personal opinion.

DD makes excellent equipment and I recommend their woofers to many of my customers... but to say that the M1 can do what the SAZ-1500D can do is wrong. DD lists their rated voltage as 14.4 volts on the M1... SAZ-1500D does 1500 @ 12.5 volts. If the M1 is underrated or not the 1500D is a more powerful amp.

Step up to the M2 and you may have a better comparison. I am not incredibly familiar with the DD M series so I wouldn't be able to tell you for sure... but with it's 1700 watt @ 14.4v rating it is probably quite comparable to the SAZ-1500D.

DD made the M1 to perform in a certain price category, and it does by all accounts. But the SAZ-1500D is a step above it and the price is higher, as it should be, to reflect as much.
