You did not offend my equipment, since it is not my equipment. I am saying it is really silly to complain about people who support a good product that has a great reputation for a REASON. Go out side this forum and you will see nothing but non-stop kissing *** to DD, JL, RF, Alpine, Kicker, etc. 

These small internet based companies are such a small percentage of the market, people dont realize it. These are almost all run by 3 or less people, some out of their own houses. So for a few people on a forum to support them and like the product, I dont think it is a big deal at all.

Its a bandwagon effect, and always has been. You really can't argue that, you just use search and it proves the point.

**Also note, I have nothing against the good products from Sundown, Fi, Stereo Integrity, etc; in fact I would recommend them myself**

like i said, (guess i gotta repeat myself), i trying to get an idea of what members paid for the amp before shipping at the best price they found.

since when did you start caring which amp im interested in?? no one cared before.

The reason people recommend Fi/SI/Sundown is they are good products. I don't recommend stuff that doesn't work for me, and every Fi or Sundown product I have had is amazing.

Anyway, best price is to email a dealer like has been said many times.

$550-$599 is what I have seen with out saying too much...

Haters have to ruin everything...

It causes inflated reviews from people around it, people who have never heard it, people who have never used it etc. I bet every other person who recommends those 3 brands on here has never heard/used the product before, but has only heard the reviews of others.

All that the person who originally remarked about was that there are other options out there, there are other small companies with great support, why not recommend them as well.

well ive used quite a few amps, kicker, hifonics, sundown, mtx, rockford fosgate

and i like sundown out of all of them, dont get me wrong the RF/MTX were great amps and did well below there rated ohm levels but the sundown still looks better, and draws less amps , not to mention 2 year warrenty

The answer to the initial question for this thread has already been answered several times. I think I'm going to stop littering this thread up with debate.

To the OP, never hurts to contact them directly, sometimes B-stock stuff is available as well!!

I suppose you see what you want to see, but I would wager that there are many more References to the Type-R than to Sundown and SI put together on this forum.
