Is it just me or does that sub look exactly like those konaki hybrids you are selling?

Everything is different... top plate height, back plate thickness, pole extension, gap width, magnet stack height, coil dimensions, etc, etc, etc.

I did use the same basket as these for those re-cones subs, though.

Chad if you still have the DP and Mach 5 SPL, could you post motor shots of the three next to each other? Ill try to, the DP is boxed up waiting to be shipped back to IA so it would take some effort to dig it out of the sub zero temps of my garage, but if i brave the cold i will take pics

I can take pics of a side by side with the Mach 5 much easier as both of them are in my room lol

lol I would buy them all but I bought 20 subs this year I have to get rid of a few before I can make room for 3 more lol....Thanks alot chad for your time taking pics... From what I can see looking at your pics of both of them it seems the dp has a deeper bottem plate with a more severe angle on it compared to the nightshade...

Anyway, I've seen the DP -- the Nightshade motor is of a very similar size and is also black, but they are quite different.

Things you can see on the outside that are different (there are quite a few other things inside) are the height of the top plate and the back plate thickness.

Yea I wasn't saying they were the same, I just wanted to see what the 3 looked like together cause they are the newest subs out and I thought chad had them all out, then I just went into the visual diffs. I could see...
