The rating is 1500 officially, it is quite conservative thermally -- the design was made to be not so much for pure SPL and more for a "daily SPL" system so the suspension is "loose" enough that you can actually use them and enjoy them with 1500 watts.Shit, 9 pages and no talk of an RMS rating?
Just wondering because I am uneducated one desiging and building a subwoofer, what would it all take to make a removable top assembly similar to that of TCs and Kicker Solo Xs? Is it cost reasons or what? I would just think that making subs that way would be more efficient for both the buyer and seller. You would be selling top assemblies like no other for people switching from 15s to 18s and then down to 10s. Just seems more practical in the long run but I am sure I am missing out one something? Thanks in advance Jacob or anyone else with good knowledge on subwoofer building.*laughs*
If I would have made 10s and 18s then everyone would have wanted 12s and 15s.
That is what happened to Mark. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif*laughs*

Well then we might have to talk about a ten. I'll need it for my truck install when I get done paying for the body panels.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif That'd be one badass ten.*laughs*
