I'm happy with my Prototype. Although I never quite got around to getting a mic and sealing up the box a bit more, I'm extremely happy with it being loud but I'm even more surprised that it sounds really **** good. I know when people buy the production models, they will love them.

certainly doesn't look like an SQ sub

It's not //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif But it is daily listenable like a BTL or similar genre woofer.

The Fs will drop to high 30s broken in and give a good response ported -- I would not suggest sealing the 12" model for any normal application, though. The 15" model will do alight sealed if you wanted it to, but generally someone buying this type of woofer will port it.

The reason I have not started the sale yet is that the release date is in February -- I was checking to see how many people are willing to wait, if sufficient interest is there I will allow people to start pre-ordering them now. I will post the proposed price on SSA.

Handels more burp power than the SPL. But both are good subs.

8-layer coil -- USA made coil

USA made soft parts

Final assembly in USA

"Tied down" style leads so no slapping and without the flaws of a true woven
