I am considering switching to these from 2 bm 10s

I have around 1500 rms to play with rated at 2 ohms but can be flexible with what i run

are there still subs available?

what are your thoughts on sq of running 4 or 6 of these sealed vs my 2 10 bms?

how much does one of these weigh?

these weigh 10lbs each. 1500 watts is little high for 4 of these. plenty are still available. great low end sound from these woofers though!

1500 watts is way too much for my little BMs too

I'm looking for a very very clean and light-weight way to upgrade my existing situation. car is very much set-up for sound quality, but current fiberglass enclosure just weighs too much for my current needs. rest of system is image dynamics stuff (idx24, idq31s on down to cd1-pros/xs65s). Am not a huge fan of image dynamics sub cosmetics nor performance as compared to my current BMs.

Just got a pair of these 8" subs. They look good! Can't wait to hear them! Will be putting about 160 to each in a ported enclosure for my crew cab gmc truck. Just not sure on what HZ to have them ported/tuned to.... suggestions?
