Sundown and RD Audio same company

Are Sundown and RD Audio the same company? I have read on many threads that they are the same company. Someone said that the RD 1750.1 in the same amplifier as a Sundown SAX 1500.1. Is this true?

I actually like the owner of RD..

They are both zenon based amps though, so take that as you will.

Not the same company at all, search the forums and you will see who is better between the two.

They use the same board, but different components... so the amps are similar... but that's where it ends...

not even close...there 2 completely different companies

they may go to the same build house but the tooling is way different

I think you'll find Sundown has top notch customer service and Jacob (owner) is a very friendly, approachable person.

never used an rd amp but supposedly they are also very nice. have used several sundowns and was impressed. not only by the amps themselves, but sundown as a company. what other company offers a 2 year transferable warranty on their products? and the c.s. is top notch, jacob is very easy to get ahold of anytime, is quick to answer any questions you may have, and is very helpful, even to non-customers. also, sundown amps generally sell faster/and for more compared to rd from what i've seen.
