Sundown amps: What makes them so good?

I am just trying to figure you why you are getting all bent out of shape. The question was answered. How many more reasons do you need to buy an amplifier?

All i was saying...and i wasnt pointin the finger at anyone..was that alot of people when asked a question decide to talk shyt or make fun of the OP instead of answering the question..instead of saying something stupid...why couldnt they say...BC of customer svc... etc..Its not just this thread but alot..If you thikn that is fine and you can say something to me bc you have 6000 posts go ahead..Nothing i said is wrong in any way..Im not pissed about it at all..but i believe this forum is supposed to help people not make them feel like a dumb ***...I guarantee if the OP had a high post count or was the "cool forum guy" he would of got legit answers..Go ahead and flame me i dont give a shyt

i wouldnt say they wont break , because everything can or will. but when i had a problem with my 1000d, i spoke directly to jacob himself on this forum and he helped me trouble shoot. we tried everything. i ended up sending it back , and got another with no problems at all. havnt had a problem since. love it.

thats why i reccomend them. solid amps , solid CS.

There is a lot of engineering involved. Specifically to make them run super cool. I used to run RF amps and they got hot. I've now switched to Sundown and they've never even gotten warm. They've stayed completely cool to the touch even running @ 0.5ohm daily.

i think you can get a good idea of why they are so good when you take a look at their guts compared to a similiar (claimed output wise) amp. Before I ever buy an amp I try to get a look at their insides..You can usually tell if an amp puts out what it says it does by doin that

All I hear is "they won't break". What is it about them makes them soooo good? I'm trying to learn more about amplifiers, and I'm curious what specifically makes the Sundown SAZ-1500 better than say, a Kicker ZX1500.1??

Ehhh personally I disagree. They break easier than a few amps I have. Now for the money is there more power. HELL NO in my honest opinion. wonderful amps. but we have blown about 30 percent of the ones we have. Now we do believe due to vibration. But still there are a few amps I have used that held up fine in the same situation. Overall for the money still prob won't find better amps for the money. But for my personal taste. I dont' personally feel from what I have seen they are reliable enough for my liking... That is just personal opinion though. Now as far as power goes. amazing amps

the amps arent bulletproof, but we have done some stupid stuff to them ( burping them at 1/8th ohm strapped and they still played....

you have to be doing something ( ie mounting them poorly to the box ) to break them...

as long as they are installed properly I dont see them breaking.

also they will do rated power in the poorest of installs

I am sure the OP wants to hear more than "good build quality"..

Doesnt Kicker have a solid design? So why the better? All of the good amps are good because of the quality, so what about 2 amps that has a good build quality but one is 200 dollars more, then why the better? I guess it would get down to personal views.

CS is nice but doesnt help to much.
