forget 18 volts this will be 12 volt setup. With my electrical i should be good either way. Which can play lower daily?I doubt there was a whole lot of a market for a 4K watt amp. Plus they are building a new one, so we shall see what they come up with.
If the 40.1 are almost as bulletproof as the 20.1's id run a 40.1 way before a sundown. I have sundown amps(125.2s), I like the CS, but when it comes down to it, would you rather have customer service if your amp blows or an amp that wont blow:. Either is a great choice tho. Im sure the sundown will be easier on the electrical but i bet the 40.1 will do more power(especially at 18V).
shouldnt take that long to make a new amp much less just re designing the amp:wow:Yes they did, close to 2 years if not longer ago.
if you go to there website they show the new 40.1 they are going to produce.
Id be willing to bet the 40.1 will go lower daily. However, i did here they dont like .25 like the 20.1's do. But itll do .25 before the sudnown would. Both should be ok at .5 daily tho. I just would trust the 40.1 over the sundown at .5. Maybe im biased tho, but i do own both kinds of amps. I was just shocked what my 20.1 did at .25. I still havent clamped it yet, but id be willing to bet it does 2600+.forget 18 volts this will be 12 volt setup. With my electrical i should be good either way. Which can play lower daily?

Lower than anyone should think about attempting.
How are you sure, do you have experience with both? People have ran the SAZs down to .15 ohms before. Both are great amps and I believe both made by Zenon so they should be similar.Unless you have an IA 40.1. Which im sure does more power and is more stable at lower imp.
Sorry, but the Sundown amps have proven to be just as bullet proof as the IA amps. They ar every equivalent designs and like I stated, I believe they come out of the same buildhouse even.I doubt there was a whole lot of a market for a 4K watt amp. Plus they are building a new one, so we shall see what they come up with.

Makes a lot of seance . They have been off the market for a long time. Real smart people at IA.
You sir have earned yourself some very loyal customers. Anything your company makes will be on top, great job:thumbsup:1) Why do you want to run 22v ? But for the sake of argument we did have a few folks test over 20v on the 3000D.
2) It's been done.
