i need help i have a sundown audio 3000 and i have 2 L5 kickers and now when i turn my radio up past about 18 my system shuts off and i cant figure out why??

how do u have your amp wired and your electrical and how are your settings on the amp and hu?

your electrical most likely cannot keep up

im not sure what your askin about how i have it wired and the setting are about half way except for the phase and the bass boost

sounds like your amp is going into protection

i have 4 gage wire and i geuss thats what the amp is doing cause if i turn the key off and then turn it right back on everyhting works fine till i turn it back up again

wow, you need to take that amp out your car b4 it blows or worst set your car on fire

um yea man u should deff up grade your electrical before you blow your amp up soon........

Lol. First off, L5's aren't going to take that much power so turn your gains down quite a bit.

Why such a big amp?

L5's sing off of 400-700 watts each

But it's your electrical causing everything to shut off

People really should do more research before they go and put all this money in equipment. A 3000d is not cheap. Hell, I cant even afford one. I hope its not too late for you man.
