amp to push two 350watt rms subs

MTX Audio JackHammer JH600 is what crutchfield suggested because i asked for something not ridiculous in price. but it only pushes 600 watts, and the subs ask for 350.

i like the price, little under 200$, i was looking at the aq1200d for $220 but it would do 870w and i think maybe that too much?

sounds good but how come people say hifonics is overrated, but mb quart isnt? even though its the same company?

or is it not the same company, just that sonicmax place supports them all?

idk, their Single 4 ohm subs. i usually run my stuff at 4 ohm, but i figured i would try 2 ohm.

idk about 1 ohm, never used it

if all you need is 350 rms at 4 ohm i have a bunch of good quality budget amps that fit into that category pretty easily

yup plenty of inexpensive good quality 4 channels that will do that or even a low cost 2 or 1 channel ab class

i've been up here for awhile now , and i've seen but one amp that ( they say was benched, but never provided any proof) was the Bxi 2008, that was doing close to 1800 watts. So i guess they now think that all of the amps are overrated, even though they make more than just the BXI lines. Search this whole forum and i bet you won't find not one legitimate test result, on either the Zeus, Bxi, Titian and /or XXV lines. Some people just post crap they no nothing about or what they've heard. Even if the BXI2000 only puts out 1800 watts, what amp in it's price range can, Very Very few. Companys underate thier amps for marketing, just like companys overate thier amps for the same reason. But i look at the price for the amount of watts.

Maxxsonics is the parent company. MB and HF are brands under that company.

A LOT of car audio mfgs work like this...

Harmon owns JBL and Infinity.

JL owns Total Mobile Audio

Epsilon Elec owns Power Acoustik, Kole, Soundstream, Precision Power

and on and on...

Are there similarities between brands? Sure, but there's no reason to think they're "the same". If they were going to do the same thing with every brand it would be a waste of money to fund each brand.

The good companies - Maxx being one of them IMO - have quite a bit of diversity between brands. If you look at a company like Epsilon -- Pwr Ac, SPL and Kole appear to have virtually identical products that just have different chassis designs -- even those don't differ much.

all that is great to hear, but its weird how their so cheap for the power they put out.

like i go to a place that sells them, pick one that would suit me and compare it to name brands and the crunch is cheapest and does more power. if its true, great, but how can that not appear funny
