well correct me if im wrong but if he picked a number from 1--80 since he said only 5 tickects left when he sold 75 tickets then isnt every ticket bought past 80 just a waste? i mean he didnt pick a nukmber 1--80 then why only sell 80 tickets? he could pick number 1000000 and none of us win.

if you really want to make it fair, he could just use a random number generator for the # of donations sent and it would be solved
