Sundown 100.4 Amp or Kicker ZX850.4 Amp

Which one would you take over and why? An advice was given to me saying the Sundown 100.4 is under rated and is more like 200 watts per channel at 4 ohms. The Kicker is rated at 175 watts per channel. I can get a used ZX850.4 for $200, or a used Sundown is around $250-$280. Are both amps about the same?

Kicker if you need that power. The Sundown will not do 200x4 at 4ohms...maybe 125. With the price and power comparison, Kicker is the easy choice.

Sundown 100.4 Dont be dumn. JKJK. Both are good amps. I liek the sundowns just becouse Iv seen kicker amps fail before and my sundowns have been through hell and high water and are still running strong. Kicker amps are under rated at 14.4v while sundown amps are under rated at 12.4v. Not to mension the sundowns do very well in a low voltage application. I know its not good for them but Iv had mine dropping down into the low 11s high 10 when Im demoing and never had a problem with them. Not to mention jake is an awsome person to work with if you get one thats still under warranty.
