musically that is

ben's chili bowl ( a very famous restaurant down in DC) celebrated their 50th aniversary this weekend. i went down on sat and had a bowl of beef chilli with a raspberry ice tea. yummies!! and then on sun nite, they gave a free concert at the 930 club on the corner of 9th and V street. i got there about 7pm and wes felton was rockin the mic ( you can find him/his page on myspace) one of my favorite artist. all of a sudden fukin raheem devughn comes on stage and does a song with wes, cause they're really good friends.

after that, troublefunk comes on and tears shit UP!!!!! troublefunk is a go-go band ( u can find their music on youtube) they kicked ***, omg man. near the end of their set, the fukin godfather comes on........ CHUCK BROWN!!!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif. everybody startin chantin 'wind me up chuck'. that cat was larger than life itself up there on stage.

lastly EU comes up there and gets bizzy ( y'all remember EU from their song 'da butt'). phenomanl phenomanel night. and the 930 club ain't all that big so i stood from 7 -10:30pm. i thought my knee was gonna explode. and i was close to the stage the whole time. i love DC

p.s. i have no cable or satellite, so i'm missing the DNC on tvone and on CNN. no internet until next week
