I am putting together a system for my MR2. I have a set of Focal 165V2's for front components, and have decided on a single shallow-mount 10" for behind the passenger seat.

I had my heart set on an Audison SRX.3 but it is WAY too large to fit an MR2. At 470mm long (almost 19") there is no way it is fitting under the seat, and would make it a tight squeeze to even mount it behind the seat (against the bulkhead) and still retain the factory storage compartments.

So I have narrowed my list down to a few 4ch (bridgeable into 3 ch) amplifiers within my budget, able to fit an MR2 comfortably, and hopefully of suitable quality to be powering a set of very nice Focal components //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Focal Solid 4 SPECS HERE

- I know Focal aren't renowned for their amps, but I AM buying Focals for the front components and like the idea of using a Focal amp with Focal speakers). The stats on it seem good (to a complete car audio noob such as myself)

JVC KS-AX6500 (Very cheap here in Japan, I found a few left with some big discounts from a supplier here) SPECS HERE and and here

- Quite an obscure amp. I haven't found much info on it, but what I have found has been positive.

CADENCE 'Xenith' Xa125.4 SPECS HERE

- These look kind of budget. Can't find any info on these at all. Are they in the same league as the other amps I have mentioned?

ROCKFORD FOSGATE T400-4 SPECS HERE

- I know Rockford Fosgate are a reputable company, but are these in the lower end of their amp range? Also, it is only rated at 60w RMS (@14.4v) - will that be too low to power the Focal 165V2's which are rated at 75w RMS?

Alpine MRP-F450 SPECS

- A discontinued Alpine product from a year or two ago. What are Alpine's MRP range of products like? Run of the mill entry-level? I know the pdx range are a substantial improvement, but out of my price range. I know nothing about this particular amp! Is it wise to be purchasing new but old model amps from a couple years back?

Basically in a nutshell, I am after something that is reasonably priced, will fit comfortably mounted on the bulkhead behind the passenger seat (anything 360mm or less in W & L is fine), will deliver plenty of power (i'm guessing 70-75w for the 165V2's?), won't run hot, and an amp that can run two channels to the front components and have a bridged rear going to a single 10' sub. Also, an amp of sufficient quality that would make it a reasonable amp to choose to power the Focal 165V2 fronts.

Apologies for the long post - thanks in advance for any advice you guys have! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D:D
