suggests some 8 inch free air subs?

im replacing the factory 8'' sub thats comes in the car and im not sure if the drop in can take any 8'' sub or if would be considered a free air application..if it is a free air can you guys suggest some brands?

Grab an SA-8 -- very stiff suspension will handle playing in free air well.

i was looking at those but it says they are made for ported while sealed can be used but not optimal..so i figured is sealed wasnt suggested then free air may not be that good either..btw, how much power can it safely take in free air applications

Rated power free air won't be an issue -- we test them pretty hard on a 1500D sweeping down to around 20 Hz free air before we ship them.
