i have a 1994 honda del sol vtec (160hp@7600 rpm, 118ft. lbs@7000 rpm)

i was wondering what i could do to get it somewhere between 200-250 hp?

i was thinkin an intake for starters, dont know what else i could do(not to expensive)

ok.. intake isnt really going to help out a lot... may add about 5- 15 HPs.. same as exahuat...another 5 - 15 HP... youll prob have to do alot of stuff to get another 100 hp.. unless if u just run NOS..or a Turbo kit.. but i would start w/ intake, and full exahust.. get some headers and new cams...this here will cost u righ a round 1000$

To get that much more horsepower, get a bolt on turbo. You should probably do your exhaust before though. Turbo+Small exhaust = bad. And "doing your exhaust" does not mean adding a coffee can to the end of your stock exhaust. dont know too much about hondas.

1.6L VTEC 4 cyl

160 hp@7200rpm

redline 8000rpm

118 ft. lbs@6600rpm

what else did you wanna know

I DID CORRECT THE STATS ON THE CAR

save up for a turbo. if not, get ready to spend a lot of money just to get that much horsepower.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Feasibly a turbo is the easiest way to get what you want, but you might need to upgrade your engine internals for the additional stress. I don't see too many turbo'd delsols

that engine can handle a lot of boost with stock internals. if you know a guy name MatT3T4, he use to hav a B16 with 17psi on stock block. Jason (st00pid) ran 20psi on a stock block B18B1 (daily driven). the more important thing to worry about is air and fuel supply. i say run 6psi and the goal of 250 or whatever should be achievable.

If you can find these in your area. Id recommend these for drop ins. They play from 40Htz on up. Sound very nice on amplified power for premium...
