Suggestions on comp for my set-up ('06 Civic)

As the title states, I need some audio gurus to give me some suggestions on component speakers as I am not very familiar with car audio. So I've got a few questions...

Here's a little background info:

I recently purchased some JL 12W3's powered by JL G1300 amp w/ a pre-fabbed ported box. I kept the factory head unit but now the deep bass from the subs is overwhelming. Obviously, I feel the need to upgrade my mid/high range. With this all in mind, I'm looking for some components, which are going to offer some superior, clear sound quality that will match up well with my current sub setup. I'm prolly looking to spend around $300 (including rear speakers if necesary), and I listen to mainly hip-hop and house/techno music. Furthermore, I drive a 2006 Honda Civic Si coupe.

Also, will I need another amp to power the components? How is the adjustability on the components if I keep my stock head unit? Is the G1300 amp providing enough power to bring out the full potential of my sub?

Ive read that Phoenix Gold RSDs are some great budget comps. I just picked up a set for $39.99 shipped. The next cheapest I found them was $65-$70 and high was $130.

CDT Audio HD62 sounded great in my 07 civic, they'll get as loud as you want and sound **** good

if you want more midbass but sacrifice some SQ

get the componnents in my sig

keep the stock for rear fill

How do they compare to the ID CTX65cs ? I'm shooting for SQ more than anything when it comes to the components.
