suggestions i need a tight clean sub

some old school memphis 10's. I have 2 in a sealed box with the amp mouted flush in the box, and it kicks massive ass. At least, its the SQ that i want. At any rate, you will want a sealed box, and no more than a pair of matching subs. Depending on install and power, you might even get away with using only one.

I use a Diamond D9 12 inch sub in a 1.5 CF sealed enclosure in my Envoy. The bass is very tight and not boomy. I purchased new for $250. I am using with a Diamond D7401 800RMS amp. I highly recommend if this is something in your budget.

If you can find these in your area. Id recommend these for drop ins. They play from 40Htz on up. Sound very nice on amplified power for premium...

Pretty much. It's just a nice kit. A solo rite Scarlett 2i2, XLR mic and a loop back cable are my next purchases so I can get accurate phase...

front doors are subs...fyi Go with AudioControl 6x9 components up front and coaxials in the rear. You will be impressed with just changing to that.
