suggestions for shallow subs

hey guys,

i have a 1993 chevy 1500 regular cab truck and i have been through about 4 different set ups of subwoofers and amps. i had 2 memphis m class 12's in a sealed box on a cadence 1000d. now i have 2 rockford 12's p3 shallows in a sealed box running off a modded sony gtr900(can run down to .5 ohms). eventually the memphises blew and the rockfords are well on their way too because im a dumbass and i like my shit loud so i crank up the gains and before i know it my sub is bottoming out. so what my question is is do you think that there are shallow mount subs that are louder than the rockfords? if so what are they? i've heard rumors of the new jl sub being pretty loud but i really find it hard to believe they are louder than what im running now. and also what about the si bm's? should i wait for those to come out? if so what are those gonna cost? thanks a lot guys.

The kicker CVT shallow mount subs are the best I have heard so far. I hear the mb quarts are really good. Stay away from pioneer they are junk.

jesus christ theres been at least 1 shallow mount thread a day for the last week

they havent set a price as far as i know yet

there were some changes to the sub which are going to change the cost slightly last i heard

Go with the Kicker CVTs, great shallow-mounts.

The latest Rockfords are pretty nice. Which ones do you have now?

Go with the Kicker shallows, they can bump. The price is relatively cheap so what the heck try them out.
