Suggestions for box size?

i am going to make a box for an 8" orion XTR sub for my computer to replace the sub that came with my computer.

i can't find any information on these subs because it's pretty old.

anyone have any suggestions for a ported box size and tuning for it?

i am thinking 1 cube tuned to somewhere between 32 and 35 htz.

any other suggestions?

i think im gonna use the molester plan for 1.25 @ 32

or should i use the .9 @35 although i'd liek to tune lower? can i just adjust the port? how would i do that?

****, i hate making ported boxes.
