Suggestions for 12" subwoofer

why going in thinking you would fry your amp? you get the 4 ohm single voice coil, set gains right and your amp should live a long life.

My amp is 10 years old. I hope it doesn't fry. My subwoofer I have now is around 10 years old as well. Still in great shape, but its a dual 4 ohm. My 2 channel amp is stable at 4 ohms bridged.

I'll look into that brand.

JBL GTO1214 will do very well in that enclosure on that amp. Infinity should be considered as well.

if you're planning on running @ 4 ohm and perhaps upgrading later..look into the Icon or Gcon
