suggestion on protecting my system and car

i need some suggestions on ways to protect my car and system from thieves. I have a shitty alarm system in my car and would like to upgrade. I dont know much about alarms so which alarms are good? I would like to have keyless entry also. I have a switch for my fuel pump so i doubt my car is going anywhere. The only problem i have is someone breaking into my car without my knowledge.

window tint to keep people from looking in....if they don't know what it has, they are less likely to break in

parking in a "better" location

i live in a row house. i have 5 percent tints. as for parking, i live in the city so really my only parking option is anywhere i could find parking

im just looking for a good a$$ alarm for my car. Something that will alert me and doesnt have that standard siren. Maybe an alarm with a LCD on the remote to alert me of any problems with my car.

Clifford Matrix with the two way pager. Add a second battery backed up siren and install it where it would be very difficult to get to. Mine would require a jack and nimble hands to get to. On one of the sirens cut the tone wire. This way when it goes off you will have one siren going through all the tones and one just doing one tone. Makes for a distinct and extremely loud/obnoxious sound. Also look into Lo-Jack.

that's a good thing then. it will do what alarms need to do which is get peoples attention. of course some people just ignore alarms half the time even though they are aware of it yet some will look at what's up.

be sure to have a back up battery installed somewhere in the car so the alarm will run off that. they could try to remove/cut your battery leads to kill the alarm but can't if it's running on a seperate concealed battery.

has remote start and a paging system. it is also the longest range alarm. i can

for example I can go to a target and from inside the store start my truck or get notification from my alram with no problem. the range on this thing is great.

i believe lo-jacks act as a silent alarm. i mean the car alarm will go off and what not but it won't stop you car from being stolen. if the car is turned on then the lo-jack system will send out a signal to near by police vehicles in a certain radius that are equipped with a lo-jack radar. it will help getting your car tracked but won't help toooo much on keeping your belongings in your vehicle.

i mite go with an alarm with a lcd and one of those louda$$ sirens. anyone know how much this would cost and recommend any brand. As for the battery, i mite not have enough money for that.

instead of the standard chirp siren. get air train horns , small tank and small compressor and i bet the person who touches ur car is ganna shit them selfs, thats what i am ganna do just wire it to a relay and bam ur set . im still waiting to install my five batteries and 2 air tanks . air horns for the win u can hear ur car down a mile away and at night if they **** with ur car ull just jump out of bed its a croud please . ur neighbors will hate u so make sure alarm isnt sensitive just when they open doors or hood.
