music cutting in and out

why would the music all of a sudden be cutting in and out, it started happening out of no where and the speakers are hooked up to HU so no amp in the middle

Its a friends of mines truck doing it and he cant figure out why

what would cause this he checked all the connections and they are good

thats the only thing i can think of because my stock HU did that right before it went sometimes it worked and other times it didnt

prob the Hu bc its a jvc and a cheap one at that

Take it out and unhook it and the plug it back in. See what it does. Sometimes things just need a fresh reboot.

I don't know, maybe someone with more knowledge can help.

Well just was asking because I had a friend tell me this years ago and asked him what it was playing. He goes CD. I tell him to put the radio on and see if it does it, and it didn't. Checked the CD, was scratched to hell and back, lol!

lol well hes almost as dumb as a friend of mine just checked it out and wat he did was put in a bigger speaker in his dash than stock and it was slidding around and touching metal and grounding out
