i just purchased an 07 civic with OEM navigation. Because of the navigation i do not want to change the head unit.
So i am left with the decision of using a regular LOC or something like the JL cleansweep. I really dont want to spend a ton of money on the system but will spend what i have to, to get something that sounds decent.
I currently have the following from an old stereo
12" infinity perfect sub
junky fosgate amp for the sub ( i will change this to something better down the road)
Alpine v12 mrv-f407 Amplifier for the speakers.
Now the question is if i am planning on spending ~200-250$ on a set of component speakers is the JL cleansweep worth the extra cash vs a LOC?
It seems silly for my to spend the money on the cleansweep when the speakers will not be super high end. I dont want it to sound like doody though. Considering what is offered in a speaker that is ~250$ is the cleansweep all that advantageous?
thanks for any help
