wiring question

k so this might be a noob question but its my first time doing it.
wiring one sub in parallel to one mono amp.

do i wire it + to + then one + wire to the amp and likewise with -,

or run 4 seperate wires to each speaker input on the amp?

although i would not advise running that hercules at .4 ohm...

Run a small length wire from the + to + coil, and then a small length wire from the - to - coil.

Then Get a seperate length of wire (well 2, one for + and -) and run a longer length wire from one (either one is fine) + coil on the sub to the pos terminal on the amp, and then run a wire from the - coil on the sub to the neg terminal on the amp.

Your only running 2 wires (+ and -) from the sub to the amp. Your just connecting the coils on the sub and then running 2 wires to the amp. That will present a parallel load.

it read at .4 on the dmm.

and there are many hercs being run .5 daily with no problems and they have been burped as low as .125 at comps.

thanks for the help btw.
