will be powered by an re 35.1d and would like to use the same box i already have 2.4cubes@35hz and max mounting depth of 8" under $400

and i dont want another RE sub, i hate how they didnt use woven tinsel leads, cuz the tinsel lead slap is driving me insane and im thinking about selling/trading my xxx and i also cant use square subs since my box has a round cut out

look into the mtx9500...even tho its mainstream,,,that sub was loud as **** imo

the diamond d9 would work and get pretty loud and still sound good. very good value off of ebay

that memphis sub is a step down...

one of those q's will get louder than a xxx...especially with the power youre using...

davidfre went from the xxx to a q and said there was a huge difference.

its just another tc9 based sub w/ a pretty beefy coil and suspension. Looks identicle to a incriminator death penalty, just a different dustcap. Idk what the specs are anymore (site took down the t/s) but my team-mate runs a incriminator 20.1 per 15 @ .25ohms daily and they take it like a champ in a huge box.

going from an "sql" sub to a "spl" sub, id think there will be a noticable difference...

if youre worried about your investment not being louder, you could always play it safe and get an mt and double stack the felt on the back of the cone?

the mt will get louder than the xxx at any power level..just flat out more effecient.

the q's have woven leads and 8g push-in terminals...i could even swap them out for the re tork-tite ones for a few bucks if so desired...
