ok i have the following rockford fosgate amps......... 2 800.2''s, 1 800.4, 1 400.4, 3 500.2 and 1 300.2 i have an alpine cde-hd head unit wired into a sony xec-1000s cross over...i have 2 pair of morell mt-230 tweeters [100 watts] and 2 pairs of morrel virtis 6.5 mids [140 watts] and a pair of polk 12' db subs [370] i was thinking of runnign the tweets on the 800.4 [100x4] and the mids on the 800.2's [200x2] i have been told the morel's can handle 200 wiht no issues. and bridging 2 of the 500.2's but turning gains down on the subs. i also have been told the tweets do not need thatmuch power one possible way is to run the tweets on the 50x4 and the mids on the 100x4 and the subs on one of the 800.2 [200x2 @ 2ohms] as you can see i have may ways to go here as well was running the tweets on the 100x4 and the mids on 2 of the 125x2 [500.2]. i also have a 1.5 farad cap for each amp. this system is going into a 1975 lincoln conti. all my amps are the made in usa rockfords not the newer thialand models. i mostly listen to classic rock and southern rock.....pink floyd, motely crue, metalica, black crowes. any input would be a huge help

the mids will take 140 why not run a 500.2 on the front and a second 500.2 on the back and then use a 800.2 sor the subs.....they are dvc so i can run them at 2 ohms into 2 channels at 400 wats or bridge them at 4 wats and just turn down the gains to 80%? i am not argguing i am just asking i wold think 125 to the mids woold be much better than just 100

i have simply aquired them over the years walk into a pawn shop and se a power 800 for 50 bucks i buy it i stockpiled untill i found me the right car to restore and install a system in now that i found a good 75 lincon its time to install. i did not buy allof them for a single car..........but maybe if i had a conversion van????? lol
