sudden loss of sub output...dead amp? something else?

Finally put my substage back in the truck. Everything was going well, hitting hard, sounding nice and so on.

Then, no more sub output- NOTHING.

I checked all the fuses, they are fine. Amp is getting proper voltage into the power and remote terminal. The power light is still on on the amp. Subs show the correct ohm load.

Basically, everything is fine except theres no output at all.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Wiggle your rca's my friend had this problem when his rcas were loose on his, so his subs where getting a signal from the amp but where getting no output at all

basically the flux capacitor is out of tune with the modular frequency of the transistor respondant unit. its really simple, despite all this high tech mumbo jumbo. you need a diagram to show you how to fix it? i just happen to have one on hand //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

All the wiring is fine. Double checked everything.....

Termlab, bring on the diagram!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif :naughty:

I know you stated previously that your fuses all checked out, but may I suggest double checking your inline fuse(s) again. I had a similar problem in the past:

power and remote checked out fine in the trunk and seemed ok inline, but on closer inspection it turned out that the inline fuse was blown, but not enough to where it wouldnt power up my amp, altho with no output!

Put another amp in its place, works fine........

****ing dead amp, I guess. AGAIN. I bought it blown, to get it fixed.....looks like it wasnt repaired very well.
