I have a question I am running two audiobahn natural excursions but want to know what the difference is when you have a subwoofer facing down (magnet on top) does it sound better?? do you get bigger bass?? does the box have to be bigger??

please let me know thank you

you will gain however much volume that your woofer displaces.

has nothing to do with it being ported or not.

to sum it all up, theres really no noticeable difference in inverting or traditional mounting, guy.
I have has my subs reverse mounted, personally mine added a "whisping" noise or something, I can't reconfigure them because I only have two boxes ATM, I have the subs facing each other and one on each wired in reverse. However I hate the sound they make reverse mounted.

I wouldn't reverse mount any subs...

That whisping noise is most likely motor noise. Only drawback with inverting brand new subs is the horribly strong smell of burning glue that comes along with it. It overwhelms my truck b/c one of my D's is still pretty new.
