Subwoofers acting funny :(

so here in michigan its pretty cold outside. my 2 18" fi btl's dont sound right when i bump. it takes about 20 mins for them to warm up. when they do work, SOMETIMES when they bump...the bass fades away. could this be an amp issue? does this happen to anyone, please let me know im scared lol

Check your grounds. It sounds like expansion and contraction in a bad connection.
