I wish I could hear then all but unfortunatly I can't. Are the hdc3.0 considered spl subwoofer and how is the quality when there bein played very loud on music?copper is more efficient with power, aluminum takes more power to reach efficiency. Seeing how hifonics overrates their amps by 100-200 rms a lot of times, i'd say copper coil would be your best bet since your not using it for SPL purposes.
yes they are considered spl woofer and in the corect custom ported box.they sound fine on music and.get loud doin itI wish I could hear then all but unfortunatly I can't. Are the hdc3.0 considered spl subwoofer and how is the quality when there bein played very loud on music?
I haven't send the sundown x line on there website. What are the rms range on them? Are they around the range in looking for. As far as a pool that's a good idea. I will add all the subs I'm thinking of getting with the amp and see what people say. I will put in the description if what I'm looking for music wise. Do you know if I can crate it on a mobile device? I'm just at work right nowThey sound pretty good and get low and hit a good range of notes in a good box. You should make a new post with a poll to see what people who've been running these woofers for awhile say. Include that you'll be running it on a hifonics brx amp good for 1k-1.2k rms per sub.
sundown X series
SSA Icon
American bass XFL
HDC 3
and other subs you would like to add
i'd be curious to see how the new sundown X line does myself.

take the ssd's and the w7 off your list not even really in the same realm as the others. I was considering dd but read to many reviews that say they sound terrible on music. Great reviews on the fi bl all over the place. dc is also top notch and you'll see the smaller enclosure will come in handy a 3 cu ft net is gonna be a pretty good size enclosure. My list would go fi bl, sundown z, dc level 4, dc level 3, memphis mojo, fi q in that order i would also throw the alpine type x in there.Hi guys I just recently joined the forums and got into the whole car audio hobby a while ago. I was always into car audio and have just a small little system. I use to have 1 12" Type R the old ones with some Type R components. I don't have that car or stuff anymore but I am planning to hook up a pretty big system in my new car. I currently drive a 2013 Honda Accord Coupe V6.
I am want to run 2 12" and run no more than 3500RMS for total system. My idle would be about 1000-12000RMS per sub. What I am wanting out of this system is I want it to be very loud but still have quality. I know some woofer that are pure SPL but don't sound amazing at higher volumes. I guess I can say I am waning a SQL kind of setup. For my components I will be running the JL Audio C5 3 way set up (6.5" , 4", and tweeter) and a 2 way set up for the rear speakers. I will be running it off the JL Audio HD600/4. I needed some advise and opinions on which of the following subwoofers below I should get on achieving what I want. Once I get everything I plan on doing the big 3, change front batter to a XS power and run a smaller one in the back and also run the biggest Mechman alternator I can ( probably a 240 or 270).
2 12" JL Audio W7
2 12" Digital Designs 3512
2 12" Sundown SA12
2 12" Sundown Z v.3
2 12" DC Audio Lv3
2 12" DC Audio Lv4
2 12" FI Q
2 12" FI BL
2 12" FI SSD
I don't really have a budget. I just want something that's good quality and does the rated power. If I have to put a budget on the amp it would be 1000.Do you already have the hifonics? If not what is your budget for an amp? Hifonics are not very nice amps it would be a shame to get such nice subs then run them with a sub par amp.
