subwoofer

ok here's a thought,

i have my memphis mojo d2 sub and im thinking about running 2 audiopipe 1500's 2 it.

1. could it work

2 what ohm load would i be at

3. would i just be better off getting another mojo if i can find it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

You really could go either way, but you have enough amps to power a pair of D2 Mojos. If you have the money and room to run a 2nd Mojo, that is what I would do. By running an amp on each vc, you would be getting whatever the 2ohm output of the amp is, to each. That would likely be around 750-800w. While the Mojo could handle that much power on each vc, you would get way more volume by running a pair of D2s, wiring them parallel (1ohm at the amp), and getting your 1500w rated @ 1ohm to each sub. I have a D2 15" Mojo, and would way sooner add a 2nd sub than put a pair of amps on each vc. Especially since you already have the 2nd amp.

You got the one with the orange basket? I see them on Ebay from time to time. In fact, there was a guy selling a pair on C-List in the Raleigh area a while back. I wouldn't think it would be too terrible hard if you did some surfing around.
