Subwoofer with direct wire leads instead of push terminals

I have 2 single subwoofer setups, one is a 1 ohm dvc and the other is a 2 ohm dvc. Both have direct wire leads instead if push terminals. I want to hook these up in 2 separate cars so how do I are them up as single sub setups with the direct wires? I want the 1 ohm dvc to be wired in parallel to .5 ohms and the 2 ohm dvc wired in parallel to 1 ohm. I can't find a single wiring diagram that explains wiring subs with the direct wire leads only push terminals and regular screw in terminals. Your help is GREATLY appreciated.

What kind of subs are you talking about? Make sure you have your positives all run together and negatives all run together. It's called parallel and it will half your ohm load.....

Right I know parallel get me .5 ohm for the dual 1's I just wasn't sure how to wire them since they are direct leads instead if push. So I wire both positive leads together and both negative leads together and then wire the positive wire to my amp to basically both positives of both vc that are twisted together and the negative to the amp to basically both negatives of both vc that are twisted together? The single 1 ohm dvc I'm trying to run is an american bass hd. The single 2 ohm dvc I'm trying to run is a psi pf3

just figure out how you can make the positive touch the positive and the negative touch the negative for a parallel connection... wire them together along with the wire that you will hook up to your amp. As long as they touch, you made a connection.

Wow really fasfocus00, I'm fairly new to car audio and when I wired 2 I did it fine no problems. My bad for wanting to make sure I do something right before I did it so I don't ruin my stuff... Last time I checked this section of the forum was for getting help from more experienced car audio enthusiasts, not for you to make people feel stupid for asking a question.

You guys are some big men belittling people on the help section of the forum. Musta put on your big boy pants and be wearin a belt. Huh? Packed you a lunch cuz ur a big man?

Obviously if the wires touch they make a connection I just wasn't sure how to wire in parallel or series with the direct wires. Terminals no problem but unless I start working with direct leads how else am I going to learn. I didn't post in the help section for cute remarks if I wanted smart remarks I would have posted in the jacka.. Section

You connect the wires by soldering and taping or heat-shrinking them - or by using the appropriate twist-on wire nuts (I like the blue ones with glue inside them). You will want to wire tie the leads to something to keep them from flapping around inside your box. Other than that, the actual connection diagram for series or parallel or combo is exactly the same as push terminals.

So you wired the 1 ohm dvc with the 2 ohm dvc sub?
