Subwoofer Wiring Ohm Load Question

Hey, on my 2 channel amp my subs bridged to one channel hit harder. so if i was wiring the subs should i wire them as a mono block amp like this

or wire them two channel since after all it is a 2 channel amp? i just want them to hit harder.

my amp is 2 ohm stable what wiring will hit harder for my 2 dvc 4 ohm type r's?
