ok im just wondering how do you find out if a sub will handle the wattage that the manufacture says it will. serous answers please no smart answers either im not going to hook it up to a wall socket or put a battery charger on it i might not be the smartest person in the world but im not stupid either

without getting into a bunch of crap, reputable brands are one of the easiest ways to gauge it. DD, RE, Sundown, FI, RD... all will do atleast stated, and more if you know what your doing. Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood, Cerwin Vega, Alpine, Kicker... All have some that will, but not all do.
