Subwoofer shopping

Hey everyone, I'm still looking for a pair of 8 inch subs to put in my Silverado. I was looking at CT sounds and then also I was checking out DS18 and Image Dynamics. Does anyone have any input on them. I'm glad I was able to read up on peoples posts on Skar. I almost ordered a pair, the price was tempting but like they say you get what you pay for. Anyways any input would be helpful. I'm leaning towards the DS18 select 8 subs they seem to meet what I require.

Stay away from Skar and CT sounds. I also can't really recommend DS18.

All make decent 8" subwoofers.

Sundown SA-8s will always be my top 3 subwoofers.

Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it, I'm pretty old school back in the day it was all Fosgate and Kicker. There are so many companies now with what looks great but it helps to ask.
I'm going to go with Ampere Audio I think. I like what I see with there entry level line, should suit me just fine, power wise and $. Thanks again.
