subwoofer recommendation

I just ordered my crescendo BC2000, and am looking for a subwoofer that will take its power at 1ohm im looking for a 15in, and plan on later twards the end of this summer(after I order my H/o alternator and some batts) to get another BC2000 and strap them, and get another 15 to match the one im ordering soon.

I'm currently looking to spend about $400-$470 shipped

Im currently mainly looking for SPL, and The woofers im currently looking at are DDS ethos, and FI BL

Any suggestions or comments on the ones im looking at would be helpful

DD 3515, Check your dealer and you wont have to worry about shipping.

I vote @NoLoud4U ; becomes a dd dealer so he can quit recommending we talk to these dealers who charge full msrp. Then we can get dd for what he gets them for, and we can all run dd.

vote goes to the ethos. It'lll **** on any 3500 DD sub or FI BL. single ethos 12 pulling 157 db in TaylorFade's ride aint no joke.

Have you tested that? And can you walk into a store and have a Ethos in a week? If you have a issue will it be fixed without you paying shipping? Do you have to pay shipping to get it? And back to how you think it will **** on them

Do you know how many subs he tested in his hatch man? I followed him on facebook long ago and he has most his vids on facebook. He did have DDs and FI subs, none came close to the ethos score. All were burped on 5k+ on burp boxes, His personal record for a single 12 was the ethos and smashed the old record by a few db.

OK. Is this OP burping? Personally I hate 12 spoke baskets. The tend to only be used on inefficient subs that need a ton of power in a small box and bandwidth *****. At least that is my experience with 4 12 spoke basket subs. BTW a 2510 has broke 170.. Just saying

Fu Audio came close to the Ethos at half the cost and can be ran on 1500w safely. I would get Fu Audio over DSS Ethos, just because they are the underdog. Talked to Taylor Fade himself about itand he said he was throroughly impressed with Fu.

The real question is do you want to save a few bucks and go with a fly by night brand that might not be around tomorrow or go with a brand that's going to be there for years to come. I'm done with fly by night.

Put in a down payment and Almost bought one them till i got a pair of hdc3 18s for retarded cheap, will get them in the future when budget allows. I trust taylor's tests and RTA data more than your throwing other brands under the bus trash talk.
