subwoofer not moving.

okay so my amp is powered but the sub is not moving. The rcas are plugged in and the head unit is giving off a signal because my speaker amp is powering my speakers just fine. Subwoofer is turned "on" and everything is set up fine with the head unit. Does this mean the speaker wire is somehow not wired right?...what else could it even be? Thanks.

O yeah, doubt its the sub...brand new

take the sub out of the box and test it free air...it's possible that the wiring in the box came loose...happened to me before a few times.

Its most likely a wiring issue. Happened to me once too.

Is your vc dual or single? one coil could be blown

Yeah but depends on how it is wired. Just blew one oveR the week and it wouldn't play at all, took it out and one vc would play when just wired to that vc

Is the cone stiff when you push the sub in with your hand? If not, check your wiring.

could've wired a coil backwards to where the 2 coils are fighting one another.
