subwoofer help.

Alright im planning on getting a system around xmas time, and I already have a h/u. Im mostly wanting spl subs, that can handle some sq aswell. My price range is 100-150 for one 12" , I have a camaro, and I only want a single sub. After deciding what sub I want, I'll take the specs from that, and find a amp that will be good for it (wanting to spend same amount on amp, maybe a little more, but not much) thanks in advance.

Advice:

Get the amp first and find a sub that would work well with it.
